McCain on local issues

Republican presidential candidate John McCain talked about Jacksonville's murder problem, preserving the St. Johns River and boosting the nation's economy during an interview on his Straight Talk Express campaign bus.

The Times-Union along with three other media outlets spent 30 minutes with the Arizona senator during his trip back to Jacksonville International Airport from this morning's rally at Veterans Memorial Arena. He's scheduled to swing through Orlando before finishing today in Miami.
