On the way

The McCain motorcade is loading up and preparing to head to Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena.

The line of vehicles is carrying teams of media, security and the Arizona senator's staffers.

Shortly past 9 a.m., the motorcade pulled up to the arena.

Around 9:15 a.m., McCain and his wife, Cindy, were introduced to a cheering crowd as the arena's sound system blasted Survivor's "Eye of the Tiger." That's the song most people recognize from Sylvester Stallone's "Rocky" series.
