Dem Voters Willing To Vote Republican If Their Candidate Loses

  Go figure.

But a new Gallup Poll says there's a good-sized number of voters who would vote for John McCain if their candidate - either Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama - doesn't get the nomnation.

Quote: A sizable proportion of Democrats would vote for John McCain next November if he is matched against the candidate they do not support for the Democratic nomination. This is particularly true for Hillary Clinton supporters, more than a quarter of whom currently say they would vote for McCain if Barack Obama is the Democratic nominee.

Ouch. So much for party loyalty. Of course, what people say now and what they do in the voting booth don't always match up. Just ask the pollsters.

  So, what do you think?

That Would Be Awesome

That would be awesome, if Hillary and Obama fought all the way to the end, Obama finally wins the nomination, and Hillary's votes go to McCain! Ha ha, mabey McCain would win by one vote and make Obama furious.

"Where has America Gone"?

With time comes change. Some change is met with excitement and hope for the potential it can promise.Other types of change bring with it sadness and even fear for some.Myself?I'm too upset with the steadily erosive waves of self-indulgent gluttony demonstrated by our respective elected officials presently infecting Washington D.C.,"both" Democratic & Republican.Never mind that it continues to be an on-going mystery to me (as well as a few million other conveniently censored Americans)how someone like Obama(with such a glaringly insufficient political resume) can go from relative obscurity to being regarded with almost Messianic grandeur....In such a short time? (And NO,I do not believe he sat through 20 years worth of Rev. Wright's "sermons"(if you can even call them that)and then expect me to believe he wasn't influenced in any way by this bilge of "RACIALLY" inspired "HATE-FILLED" rhetoric.)There are just so many things on so many levels I see playing out in this still great (but ailing) Nation of ours...Our once proud principles, values, and standards of civilized discourse are getting the snot beat out them and are posted on Utube or found just a Google away for all of us to see for ourselves their battered state.Where does any arrogant sense of achievement come from when we advance so far in our technologies and all we can show for it is our  most self-deprecating and depraved baser instincts? However the internet though isn't the lone evil of ingredients in this mix ("and" on the upside it does provide a genuine resource  for good uses.Sadly tho',most of us do not care about good uses-You only have to watch TV,or read a newspaper to figure that out.)I guess another thing I find disturbing regarding this Rev. Wright,is the level of applause and accolades he recieved at that press conference the other day...BY OUR OWN NEWS REPORTERS!The very people we expect to tell us what's going on in this downside up world we're living in nowadays.Does anyone really need to wonder to themselves why then  so many news stations and news publications are losing census in their viewing audience  and readerships?Meanwhile back to Washington('BUT' not limited to Washington though), where common sense seems to have fled the city limits quicker than illegal immigrants can get across our mostly undefended borders(whatever happened to "THAT" issue by the way?),corruption as it advances(much like a cancer) just seems to be more and more accepted by most as  part of "business as usual"....EVERYWHERE!In our local and federal governments,Public Education (where the latest trend growing in popularity across the country these days (aside from the kids beating the poo out of each other to run & post it on Utube)seems to be "Teachers Gone Wild" and having sexual relations with their underage students.),all the way through our entertainment industry, law enforcement, aww hell, you name it,it's there.Like I said,EVERYWHERE!Nothing has ever been perfect in this world, but I do seem to remember times that were better than this.I'm 44,White,AND I'm not a racist.I would vote for Colin Powell in a heart beat if he would decide to run for office tomorrow, but I don't think that will be happening anytime soon tho'.  I am a republican also by the way and I can't stand our current administration anymore...Or congress either for that matter. As those waves of self-indulgent gluttony keep pounding away at the expense of  Americas tax-payers, how much longer will we as Americans continue to suffer this  "We the politicos,by the politicos, for only us the politicos" form of government?Where has America gone?Worse yet...Will we ever be able to find it again?!
